how long till i know my oc is stable?

so did my first oc today and once i got it to where i wanted i started running prime95 its been a couple hours and nothing has really changed. i have a fx 8320 and its core temp is staying around 50-52 which im pretty sure is good but i read alot of people ran it for 24-48 hours to make sure do i really have to run it that long

I personally would run it for atleast 24 hours without use then run it for 8 hours of use.

i should have also asked if i need to run any other tests ive only run the top one the small fft one do i need to run the large one or the blend one? never used prime before so not sure

I say 8 at minimum with 24 recommended. For the test, blend is a good way to go, but all will work.

I personally run for an hour or two and then go about gaming and running some editing programs to see if it will crash. Before I came up with this method I ran prime for hours on end and then when I rendered a video it would blue screen. To each their own.

so if i left it overnight and see no failures in morning and then just ran some games and other things thats a good test as well?
