If you're using that Western Digital as your main drive it's best to spend a little more money and get the black version as they perform a little better than the business focused blue line. Also you really should spring for 16GB or RAM if you can.

you've chosen the more expensive I5 with the unlocked multiplier (denoted by the k) which is meant to be for overclocking. However, your mobo only has the B85 chipset which doesn't allow o/c. So I would suggest either a non-k CPU or a Z87 chipset mobo if you wish to o/c. You will also need an aftermarket cooler if you are overclocking eg. Coolermaster Evo 212 $35.

I beg to differ regarding RAM, there are currently no games which use up to 8GB, so 8GB is sufficient.

thanks for the significant info! :D  regarding the mobo, i actually have 2 choices, the B85 and Z87, now that you mentioned that the B85 doesn't allow o/c, i am leaning on buying Asus Z87-K 4th gen, or are there any other better choices ? and regarding the cooler, i was planning to buy Corsair Hydro Series H80i, i think it is a little expensive compared to what you suggested, or should i invest on other components and just buy a cheaper cooler ? i really appreciate your help :D
