Yes it's another can't find my iPod on my pc question. I have an IPod Touch. When I plug it into the USB I get the ding dong and ITunes loads up and recognizes it. But when I go to look for the device in My Computer it doesn't show up. When I go into devices and printers there is an icon under unspecified section that says Apple Mobile Device USB driver. When I right click I get troubleshoot and properties. When I click on troubleshoot it goes to the troubleshooting wizard but ends up saying that it can't identify the problem. When I go under properties it shows the driver and that it's working properly but the update driver tab is greyed out. This is enough to make me tear out my hair. Please help!

I got the ipod to work on a pc that has vista. It took a while because the current version of Itunes does not have the use as disk function so I had to click on manually manage music and videos. Once I did that and plugged the Ipod into a different USB port the pc recognized the device
