I've been Needing A better Graphics card, and I Heard that the GTX 670 Is a Really good one, but I needed to make sure.

Admirable
The price of the gtx 670 makes it almost like snake oil. That card is more expensive than the gtx 770 it looks like. If you are looking at about a $450 budget get the gtx 780 if you are looking around $350 get the gtx 770

R9-290, slightly slower than 2x 7950. I've had GTX 670, GTX 680 also. These 2 are like snake oil as mentioned above, for some reason stupidly expensive compared to new cards like GTX 760 and 770.

If you do go for the 670, don't get the reference cooler, it's carp!

I was looking at a GTX 760 (Gigabyte OC 2Gb, factory OC plus a really good 3 fan cooler) for $319 AUD. Could get as cheap as $250 for a rubbish Gainward with only 1 fan and no OC.

In the end I found a deal on an ATI XFX 280x OC Double Dissipation 3Gb for $329.

It ends up being just a bit slower than a GTX 770, but the cheapest non OC 2Gb is still $370. The extra 1Gb and an awesome warranty will help future-proof it a bit.

ATI XFX 280x OC Double Dissipation - this is the best performance / $ and should overclock nicely to beat a 770. My only hesitation would be that I had 2 earlier 7950 xfx DDs and the cooling was very poor, it might have change now, but check a few reviews etc.

Read quite a few reviews on the 280x and they did say that the DD cooler was completely redesigned and worked very well.
Load temps were under 70c, while the 770 reached 75c.
OC results on the DD suggest ~85Mhz extra is all you can get on the core, and an extra 50Mhz on the ram. I think voltage bumps were required. This netted a nice FPS bump which pushed it above a non-OC'd 770 in most games.

Problem with that cheap $250 760, it doesn't have a factory OC, and with only 1 fan, I'm assuming the cooling is pretty average and won't support much of an OC. Still, if you didn't need as much performance, $250 is an awesome deal for a 760.
