Ok, so. I recently picked up the download version of The Secret World. For some reason I can't post threads on that website or ask questions so I am hoping someone here can help. I took the time to download the game through Steam(maybe this is my issue?) and after completion I launch the game as normal. After launching, the game's patcher opens up and starts the almost 2 GB patch. When this completes I am able to launch the game from the game's patcher which brings me to the actual game launcher. I am able to launch the game and log in and play, but as soon as I log out and exit Steam, the file randomly disappears. I go back to look in the file folder(39.2 GB before patch and about 42 GB after patch) the folder is all of a sudden down to 895 MB as if the file just vanished. I can't for the life of me figure out why this is happening. Does anyone have any experience with this game and know why this happens? I just finished downloading the game and made a full copy of the downloaded file on my backup drive before launching the patcher this time so that I don't have to go through 2 days of download and patching again(hopefully). Thanks!
