Can I put a secondary hard drive back into my computer after I reformat it and still keep the data on it?

I have C: drive (Windows) and B: drive (Media) I want to reformat my C: drive and keep my B: drive the same, will i be able to put B: into my newly formatted computer and still keep all of the data on it and use it the same way?

yes, if you don't format the B drive. But if you installed programmes on your B drive (not just docs/pics/video etc) then part of the install may have been on the C drive, hence programmes may not still work.
