Hi guys,
I have a logitech X-540 5.1 setup that I tend to run at max volume. That is my main setup but I do occasionally use a Corsair Vengeance 1500 surround sound headset.
I've been using on board sound for years, but wonder if I'd see an improvement in surround sound effect with an actual (<$50) sound card such as Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE 7.1 or ASUS Xonar DG 5.1
I also figure I might not have to turn my X-540 to max volume if I upgrade my sound card.
I will be upgrading my CPU and MoBo at the end of the year, but for now I have an MSI P67S-C43
