installing 2 different rams

Hi , i just built my new pc
I have 3 ram of corsair vengeance
1 is of 8 gb and other two of 4 gb but all are of different
Currently i am using the 8 gb one but when i use all of them my pc wont boot up.
cant return it as it had only 10 days return policy unlike us where you get 1 month

any ideas how to make it work ?

What are the exact specs of the RAM sticks?

RAM needs to be identical in each slot or it won't work.

1st 4gb ram is 160mhz ,1.50v ver7.21
Cmz4gx3m1a1600c9b and blue in colour.
2nd one is 4gb 1600mhz 1.5v , ver8.16 black colour

Are the timings (CAS etc) the same on both? What brands? What Part No.s? Anything different at all and they will most likely fail and cause the PC to not start up.

the 8 gb and 4gb blue are same
so now i have 12 gb ram
only the black one is the problem , as it has different version no.

OK. It still won't guarantee that it'll work. But at least it won't guarantee it won't work.

and one more question
whenever i connect my to my modem with ethernet cable then my iphone loses its wifi connectivity and when i turn off the pc
my iphone gets connected to the wifi.
any idea why this is happening ?
brodband speed is 8mbps

Your RAM might work if its identical.

Wifi - depends how you've connected everything and how you've set it up. Is your modem actually a modem router? What have you got connected to it? Is your PC connected by ethernet cable or wifi? How is everything else connected to the modem rouetr?

Yeah it is a wifi router +modem device. D-link
I connect my pc through Ethernet cable.
I can't understand when I turn off my pc only then my iphone connects to the wifi same with s4.
Any solutions ?

While your modem router is on it generates wifi. Your iphone should be able to connect to it whether your PC is on or off. Maybe your iphone is trying to connect to something other than the router. Check your iphone settings.

I does connect but as soon as I start up my pc , automatically the range goes away
same on samsung galaxy s4
I know it's weird , it's like the pc is taking up all the signal through cable and leaving nothing for wifi.
Confused a lot.

Maybe your PC also has a wifi card in/on it. That'd make the iphone work near your pc. If your modem-router was away from your pc, then it might be too far away for the iphone. Can the iphone detect the network when the pc is off? Even if you are next to the router? Hav you got one router antenna up/down and the other horizontal?

My iphone gets connection everywhere around the house even near the router only when my pc is off.
I dint install any wifi card
My motherboard is gigabyte ga-z87x-oc.
