Need to replace my desktop. Main goals developing (Android, java and web pages) and watching videos (preferibly HD 1080p). I'm oriented on AMD processor with at least 4cores. An AMD-V (or svm - I'm not sure about the name) feature is imperative.
What's the right MB for me. Thanks in advance.

What would be your CPU price? If $120, you could get yourself a FX 6300 6 core procesor which is pretty good value for the price, a superb choice indeed. If you go that route a ASRock 990FX pro3 would be a great bundle item for the processor. That motherboard which has the 990FX chipset is the best choice for a motherboard AMD Socket AM3+, as OC and performance benefits are huge reasons to get it.

On Newegg, it'll cost you 214.98, a great price for those components

Thank you for the answer.
I'm not so technic and it's understandable from the question. BTW I'd like min 6GB RAM but know nothing about current sizes so I don't know if just 2 RAM slots will be enough. There's a big difference in prices between 1600 Mhz and 1866Mhz (i guess we're talking DDR3 RAM).
Finally, AMD is due to a personal preference but if Intel is better for my needs welcome all advice.

PS.
What is CL ratio?

Not at all. I thought to an AMD 4cores regardless to the model (because I don't know anything about) because I need to run Android and IPhone emulators (they're quite demanding in RAM and CPU). But for instance I'm not interested in a extremely powerful video-card (if a standard videocard is onboard it's the same for me, as in my old ASRock N68C-S UCC with Athlon II X2 250 CPU).
Planning to run Ubuntu 13.10 amd64.
I'm searching by myself for MB but there's a lot of indications I don't understand. The most important is: what I have to check to be sure that Virtualization Technology is supported by the MB?

Thank you so much. I'm watching right now the prices of these.
And about the AMD-V (I guess this is the name of the Virtualization Technology provided by AMD)?

Sorry man, but I watched the specifications of that MB (BTW it's very cool) but anywhere I found something about AMD-V or similar. The only voices with AMD are the followings and no one is about virtualization:
Supports AMD's Cool 'n' Quiet Technology
Northbridge: AMD 990FX
Southbridge: AMD SB950
Supports AMD Quad CrossFireX™, 3-Way CrossFireX™ and CrossFireX™

First of all a series of thank for your patience.
Virtualization Technology is quite important to improve the development of Android apps because you have to run more emutators to try the app itself. It's a continue run - check - stop - code loop. Without virtualization you have some time wasted in waiting.
I prefer AMD's world for historical reasons (I always had AMD machines but just one Pentium III ages ago) but if this path is not suitable to me i can evaluate a modified perspective (read Intel CPUs and chipsets)...
