My budget is around 250 and i want a new graphics card. I've been wanting the GTX 760 but that leaves me no money for the mouse I wanted, but it is possible that I may get it. My other choice is the 750 ti. This will leave me more money so I can buy maybe a new mouse or even some monitor. Please leave suggestions on what should I get. Thank you so much for reading

A GTX 660 would be a better option than the 750 TI for a $200 budget. That'd leave $50 for the mouse, and I doubt it's too much more expensive than that.

I'm not sure that the gtx 660 supports Shadowplay. Does it? I'm looking more for a high performance card that will last me a long time but not too expensive.

Hmm... Well, with a $250 budget I simply can't recommend the 750 TI. The 760 and even 660 are both much faster, and it makes a big difference in games.

I'd suggest you delay purchasing the mouse if necessary.
You're much less likely to regret buying nicer items one at a time, instead of trying to buy things you'll need to replace sooner both at once.

I see where you're coming at thanks. Do you think the 760 should be able to run games on Ultra/High settings at the sexy 60 fps mark?

Eh... Gaming mice are not overrated though. They actually do help quite substantially around the $40+ mark. Generally. Obviously some $70 mice are crap and some $20 mice are quite good.

Just make sure to pair it with a decent, thin mouse pad. Steelseries has some good cheap ones if you don't already have one.

only a difference of 2-3 fps between the 660ti and 760

In most games, the GTX 660 is about 10 fps lower than the 760.
In most games, the GTX 660 TI is about 5 fps lower than the 760.
They're priced pretty accurately according to their performance, with each $25 increase signaling a 5 fps gain.

Yeah, but we're talking about a stock 660 here. A 660 TI costs almost as much as a 760.

A 750 TI is weaker than a regular GTX 660.

I think I might get a 760, don't know yet, but not just because of the bit higher frames, but because of the new technologies coming out for nvidia.

And if you want to recommend a 660 ti then can you send me a link to it because it is never in stock on newegg.

You could also wait for the 8xx series to release, and maybe get an 850 TI. Chances are, that'd be as strong as a 660 or 660 TI for less money and use the new architecture as well.

Anyway, here's a link to a 660 TI. They're hard to find in stock, and honestly if you were going to pay the typical 660 TI price of $230-$250 I would just recommend a 760 instead.
