Hi! Last week ups all of a sudden died which forced me to plug my PC right into the wall, yesterday there weas a powercut after which upon restart it would only read 6 out of 8gb ram. I took out all the ram and put it back in and it worked fine. Then today there was another powercut, and now all it does is beeping, i got it to start up twice reading only 2gb ram and it would collapse after not even fully booting up. I tried every ram configuration of the four 2gb sticks (two factory shipped and two CNmemory I added over a year ago) how can i rule out what the problem is?

I did by resetting the motherboard battery a few times but it didn't help, I got desperated and brought it to the local hardware technician, he said he would clean the slots with spirit and let them dry overnight, then check my ram sticks in some other machine,(his ram didnt work in mine....) I have a hard time trusting the guy who i am sure means well but don't know what else to do...
