Hello so as the title says i have a ips monitor and it looks great but how do i know that it is displaying colours "right" i mean more to life.

What settings is the best i know its different for monitors but is it like the sRGB or the custom one where you can set rgb where all atm is set to 100% so what mode is best to use or what settings would be best to use?

Are there any software to use that does a good job?

Or is a monitor calibrater the best like the sypyder elite 4 or something like that i dont really wanna spend that much money for a thing that wont be used much since im not a photo editor or anything just a gamer who likes good colours in games and videos and my wallpapers so i want the best possible colours i can get.

Why not try to make the best if you have the monitor you paid for?

So any software options or other options would be great

Using a calibrator will produce the best results.
There is a tool in Windows to do this though.
