Hi.
I own a gtx MSI gtx 760 hawk..
And I cannot get a stable overclock everytime I'm adding just a little to the core clock everything crashes. What am I doing wrong? I've heard there was some problems with the latest WHQL driver from Nvidia but im on the newest beta! Should I add something to the voltages? I've already added to "core voltage" And my "Temp limit" and "Power limit" is at max!
BTW look at this link:http://uk.hardware.info/reviews/4709/6/msi-n760-hawk-re...
This card should really be able to oc!

Solution
Try to OC the memory and core clock first without raising voltages. Leave the power limit on 100%. Find the sweet spot. Once you start getting crashes you CAN raise voltages (please be careful though!) or go back a little and test for stability and be pleased with that OC. When you have reached the result you want to achieve, you COULD start raising the power limit, but be mindful that this will also result in higer voltages when the boost mode kicks in.

Personally i would just keep the OC on better memory and core clock and perhaps a slight increase in voltages, but leave the power limit on 100% forever. But it's up to you what you want :).
Have fun!

All cards are not the same, just because that one (likely a handpicked sample sent to them to review) was able to go that high - does not mean they all can.

The Hawk is already clocked above stock speeds and depending on yeilds and binning pactices at the factory - they may not have any additional overclocking headroom.

Well. I dont know where to start cuz, if I cant oc this GPU then something must be wrong.. This card was meant to be oc'ed...
Tripple overvoltage feature, dual bios, stong VRM and the thing on the side of the card to get a better and more precisely display of the voltage.

The option "power limit" crashes my GTX680 (factory OC by ASUS, 4GB) all the time. Once i pulled the power limit to stock (100%) i was able to achieve a stable overclock on both GPU's (+91 mhz core clock and +150 mhz memory clock without raising voltages!).
I am not a big fan of raising voltages on my GPU too much, especially not with Kepler, since it overvolts itself when boosting the clocks. If you raise the power limit, the boost mode raises the voltages even more, that's what kept crashing my GPU's 24/7.
So try to overclock without raising the power limit.

By the way, i got WAY better benchmarks without raising power limit as well. I'm not a big fan of the power limit option (and cards overclocking themselves). So my advice, try to OC without power limit.

First of all I've tried both afterburner and precison x. And no I set temp target to 95 because you didnt mention that so I thought I might leave that.. I can try without though. Everything else was defeault ecxept the 10 mhz on the clock

I hope it will work with temp target on default. If it won't try different drivers and try your OC again. If that won't work again i'm afraid you have a card that won't OC above it's factory OC, it's possible.
You could also try setting everything to default and ONLY increasing the power limit. If you only increase the power limit you will increase the boost capability of the card and this can result in better results.
I hope it will work for you mate!
