This is the first time I've done fairly extensive upgrades to a PC so here I go...

The hardware I upgraded back in Dec/Jan were the GPU, ram, and PSU. I only added a fan as an exhaust but I couldn't find a way to install a intake fan on the side case. Since my PSU is at the bare minimum for the GPU I realize it could be an issue. But for gaming, the case never felt hot just warm for certain games, and it's never overclocked so I haven't come across abnormal visuals at all up to this point.

Anyways, last few weeks I've recently started noticing sporadic artifacts on Firefox whenever I boot up, it doesn't occur too often so didn't really think it was that big of a deal.

Recently I've gotten a pretty bad screen corruption at random while browsing through Reddit and Facebook. There weren't any overheating issues or even warm temperature around the case.Didn't get the chance to take a picture but basically it looked like a complete mess, it had more of a scrambled-horizontal pattern across...apologies, I think that's the best I can describe it.

I tried unplugging/replugging the DVI-D and switching to HDMI but the corruption was still there. Regardless, I was able to safely shut off/reboot at that point.

I'm being overly paranoid/cautious since the screen corruption only happened once, but I need to know how to check and pinpoint the cause for future reference. I can think of either the PSU or GPU causing the issue but these two have been performing reliably for the last 3 months and the PC usually runs for 8+ hours on most days of the week.
