Is my Corsair H100i working correctly?

I have a Corsair H100i installed onto my AMD FX 8350 cpu, and from what I'm seeing I'm getting fluctuating idle temps of around 30-60c, mostly staying somewhere in between 40-50c. I've recently reapplied thermal paste in a small grain of Artic Silver 5 having removed the older TIM with Iso Alcohol 91%.

I haven't noticed it until now but one of the tubes for the H100i remains cold as the other is hot. Is this normal? I guess you could say that the radiator is kinda warm, but then again maybe its just the fans exhausting air into it.

Overall I just wanted to know if both tubes are supposed to be hot or just one of them.

No overclock. Just the standard factory settings. As to whether or not the pump is running, I really don't know how to confirm that...

However I did check Corsair Link and it states the pumps are running at about 2255 rpm

UPDATE: I checked all the cables. The pump sensor cable which is the wire next to the power for the H100i was plugged into a 2-pin fan connector. The pin was not coming into contact with the sensor cable so I unplugged it, and replugged it into the motherboard fan connector where the pins come into contact.

So far the temperatures have not exceeded 50c and is remaining in a stable 20-48c at this time. If anyone can confirm that this may be whats causing the issue with rise in temperature, let me know I will keep you guys posted and let you all know if temperatures begin to rise again.

It must be because yesterday I had just swapped cases from a Rosewill Thor V2 to a Corsair Carbide Air 540 and replugged everything.

Well I stress test it for at least an hour so far Load temperatures are ranging from 71-85c.
I know that it isnt a long test to confirm anything but I got work soon x.x

these arent safe temps for your cpu. are you on stock voltage?

Yes I'm on stock. Another possibility is Artic Silver 5 requires a burn in period of 200 (8 days) hours. This may explain my increase in temp. The TIM may need time to cure.

FINAL UPDATE:
Well now.. I believe I can come to a conclusion that the reasoning as to why the H100i was not functioning correctly, was do to a very small leak coming from somewhere within the radiator itself. Kinda explains why the exhaust fans are somewhat wet. This will probably be my first and last time I use liquid cooling, I'll be using my stock fan for the time being until I find a suitable third party air cooler. The damage may have been done while I was shifting the cooler to another case. Pity.
