My computer is a hp Phoenix i7 quad core with a hd Radeon 7700 graphics card it's only about 6 months old. Whenever I try to load a game or watch videos in full screen my computer crashes to a black screen, sometimes you can hear the audio on a loop and the only way to turn off is to hold the power button, my cpu temps are around 36 degrees and gpu is 30 degrees so don't think it's a overheating issue. I don't know much about computers so apologise if you need more information

Thanks scout sorry how would I know if it has an onboard chipset? Should I just take the graphics card out and switch on?

Open "device manager" look under display adapters. If you are opening th case make sure to unplug the power from the wall.
