I've recently bought ArmA 2 on steam but it will not run. I'm a noob to PC Gaming but if you could help it would be grand

i'm not sure if arma2 supports hybrid crossfire or not... additionally arma2 is heavily cpu dependent, and that's a weak-sauce cpu.

that said it SHOULD run in some fashion.

explain what your problem is a little better.... when you say it won't run what do you mean? does it crash? does it not load? does it give an error message? does it just run like crap? you'll need to give more info if you want use to help you figure this one out.

What i mean is when i'm in my steam library, i press play. after that, at the bottom of the browser (where it says if you're in game or not) it goes green for about 5 seconds then turns back to blue. My laptop can run ArmA 3 very well, if that helps

by that do you mean re install? if so, ive already tried that many times

lol mate thanks for the suggestions, but i've fixed it now. it had something to do with DirectX 9. had to re install that .dll
