So I feel I am a bit of audiophile as I am growing up in a house with lots of audio/speaker equipment and yotta yotta bing bang garbage, you get the picture.
-I have seen crappy bass amps to 2 grand amps that need a pre amp and some speakers from china to uk

So I been looking on the internet for how to get better audio out of my pc and it seems buying a usb dac/amp unit is the best route since they require virtually no drivers and sound cards really a great option it seems as they have many many issues.
so I want to get a dac unit with a usb connection and my price point is kinda lowish with a maximum of 275$ before tax and shipping
preferably a smaller dac but still an actual unit that can power audiophile headphones and has a gain dial of some sort is all I really want, of and 24bit capability is a must.
please no usb flashdrive sized ones as those lack features.
and I know I want this because my motherboard sound is terribly hissy and flat.
I don't know what to buy please help I have been thinking for a while and have no idea which one of the few I have seen I want.
-IMPORTANT I'd like to be able to order it off Canadian amazon.
