psu help first build noob

here are the specs would be very grateful for help was looking at a 600w corsair
amd 8320
asus r9 270 oc
2x 4gb kingston hyper x blue
1 tb wd cavier blue
120 gb ssd kingston v300
cd/dvd burner

I like the corsair tx 550 myself but i agree you defiantly want to avoid the cx series they use cheap Chinese capacitors.

m5a97 r2.0 motherboard but will run win7 not crappy 8

You will want 750 to 850 watts for crossfire to be safe. It really depends on the cards power consumption but 750 watts id plnty fot most sli or crossfire setups.

650 w will work even though there oc cards? first time builder you see not clued up on all requirments!
im gonna have to look around im uk and us get there parts cheaper :(

Quality good 650W would be enough to CrossFireX two 270's
Also M5A97 R2.0 is a good motherboard for your needs. Get 650W PSU from XFX to make CrossFireX or get 550W with GTX-760!

You only need 650w to Crossfire 270's , 750 and 850 would be overkill.

650W would be enough (650W would be also enough for 270X CrossFireX) even with OC.
And if you want water cooling take a look at Corsair H100i and NZXT Kraken X60! or Cooler master Seidon 240

tnx i did my research as it has 9 series chipsets all the way! just hit a wall with psu's much appreciated !
