Need help with SSD install

I have a question regarding an SSD I am about to install. I recently purchased the Kingston HyperX 3k 120GB SSD because a driver I installed on my current HDD is causing a black screen on start up, and I'm unable to access anything without booting with another HDD. I spent a fully day trying everything I could to fix the issue before finally giving up and just buying an SSD, which I've needed for a while anyway.

So in short, I'm going to use the SSD to boot with, and my HDD which can no longer properly boot as storage. (I've tested this already, I can access my files just fine as long as I boot with a different drive.), but here's the problem:

I have a Radeon graphics card, and I've heard that for my SSD to work, I need to enable AHCI prior to installing Windows 7. I am able to do this, but once I enable AHCI, and try to boot with my old hard drive, I get a BSOD. So here's my question:

If I enable AHCI and install windows 7 on the SSD, will I still be able to access my HDDs files? Will the AHCI mode affect my ability to access them, or is AHCI only an issue if I attempt to boot with the HDD?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

To answer your question, you will have no problem reading your HDD once you install windows on the SSD in AHCI mode.
Just follow the instructions Ahmadjon posted, and you will be fine.
