so, i was just playing gw2 and my computer turned off. basically what happened is that the power outlet i was using turned off real quick and so did my computer and at the same time it made a clicking noise, now that im turning it back on it wont turn on! everything else that was in that outlet still works and the outlet is fine, i even moved my computer to a new outlet. i try turning it back on but nothing happens at all. no lights nothing. I made the computer myself about 3 months ago, it has:
corsair cx 600 psu
msi 787-gd65-gaming motherboard
msi 760 graphics
intel i5 haswell
16gb vengence ram
segall ssd and a 2tb hd
i dont know what to do and im freaking out because i just spent so much on it very little time ago.
I bought all parts from newegg, and i dont think i can return my mobo or psu because i sent in a promotional offer for $20 bucks 2 months ago which made me rip apart the box to get the damn bar code off it.

Solution
That is an interesting dilemma.
Sudden power loss to mid to high end PCs can be very harmful.

Usually when the PC is unresponsive to a power button press, it is either the MOBO or the PSU.

There are usually safety features in PSUs to prevent big surges from going to the system, so i'm willing to bet it's the PSU.
To know if it is the PSU for sure, you are going to have to get a multimeter and check for voltage out of the MOBO power connector.
You can also check with the manufacturer, and see what kind of warranty they have.

well, i l bought the mulitimeter but didnt need it. while looking up how to use it (yes haha ive never seen one of those things in my life) i saw a guide on how to check if your psu is dead. I did the paper clip test and the fan wont turn on so i assume that the whole thing is messed up and needs an rma.
