Hi,

I am looking for a motherboard that can host my two frame grabbers. In the frame grabber's specification, it states that the host bus is "PCI-64/PCI-X 66". So my questions are:

Q1: Will a PCI-X 133 slot be able to host the card?

Q2: I assume those PCI standards have some sort backward compatibility. So what else kinds of slots will be able to host the frame grabbers?

Q3: Anyone knows any relatively "state-of-the-art" motherboard that has 2 or more slots that can host my frame grabbers?

My thanks in advance!

For a multi-purpose machine or dedicated to frame capping? Tricky to find a motherboard with more then once PCI slot, if any.

Or easy enough, still not exactly top of the line, but serviceable.

Not many processors around new, might have to go used. But it does support Q9xxx processors (Core 2 Quad) one step, basically Q2Q -> 1st Gen i7 -> 2nd -> 3rd-> 4th, so not too out of date. Still benches fairly high.

DDR2 though.
