For the past few days my fairly new windows 8 pc has been booting up somewhat slow, along with a greatly increased initial login time. Now, it is nothing crazy like over a minute but I have a samsung 840 ssd and it usually takes about 12 seconds from pressing the power button to being logged on. Now, after I put in my password and hit enter it takes about 20 seconds to get on, when it use to take about 1-2 seconds. I did also notice my computer doing some pretty weird stuff booting up last week like one time I just got a black screen and the other time it froze at the screen that has the option to go into the bios and such. Does anyone know what could be causing this? (Just did a full scan and a rootkit scan with AVG)

Reinstall Windows or there is an option in windows 8/8.1 to refresh the pc, which essentially remove all user installed programs.
