i recently got my mobo and gpu back from gigabyte for warranty replacement (mobo for the third time). i put it all back together and did a clean install of my windows 7. after i did all of that it started randomly crashing/freezing. it would not shut down just completely stopped loading anything. i then installed all of the updates for windows thinking there might be some kind of driver issue. still happened. is there a chance that my cpu got damaged after installing it and removing it approx. 4-5 times? it is the only thing still original to my first build. i later thought it could be my 1tb hdd (maybe a loading or caching issue) but after a clean install on my 60gb ocz ssd, it still does it. please make an assist

Solution

Hi. Check and see if you have any bent or broken pins ( I think they are on the Processor of the AMD.
