GTX 780- powerful Graphics card which can play games around max settings

Core I5 4670k- The standard CPU in the $1000 pc gaming, again very fast and powerful and can run games very well and also is overclockable

Motherboard supports a second GTX 780 at the time of upgrade as well as slots for more ram

8GB ram is the sweetspot in gaming pcs currently

850W Gold+ PSU- Very reliable and provides room to add in a second 780 in the future

Solution
Looks good to me, I'd look into a SSD. I got one thinking it wouldnt be that much of a difference, but I can barely go back to my other computer that uses a traditional hard drive.

an ssd instead of what? would I still get the western digital internal drive? or could I have them both and could you send me a link to a good ssd?

I'd get both. Right now I have an (older) Samsung 830 SSD with just Windows and a few programs and it boots very quick. I'd take the storage drive as well and just have that for storage for music, games, etc.

Its not required to get a SSD obviously. It only really affects boot times, but it makes a huge difference IMO.
