Help with finding basic drivers to do an XP Pro install as a dual boot on a Dell Inspiron 3746 with Windows 7 Pro [upgraded to pro from Home Premium] I purchased this system a month ago and upgraded it. I am trying to get some old programs to work and at the same time, since the programs will work in XP, having a dual boot set up. Half-way through the install of XP it crashes. Someone said that it might need some basic drivers that are not on the computer. I am not really computer savey so have no idea how to search for anything like that. I can search for XP drivers, but I think they were talking about some other basic drivers since my xp disk would have drivers, I would think. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks you so much. Ruth

No need to duel boot as Windows 7 Pro and above allow you to run XP Mode for free. XP mode can be downloaded from MS as a free download. It runs as a virtual machine and runs seemlessly. I have an older version of Foxpro installed on mine.
