Whats a good budget gaming system for around $600?

My buddy was looking at replacing his 4-5 year computer with building his own. While he doesn't know a lot about PC parts, he asked me if i would pick the parts out. While i'm not the expert either (i wouldn't be asking questions if i was an expert) but I am just beginning at PC building, so I picked out parts for him.

Can any of you suggest a good gaming pc for around $600. Can you also include links. That would be a HUGE help.

This is what i picked out for him.

CPU: AMD Athlon X4 750k
Motherboard: Asus A55M-A
GPU: MSI R7770 GHz Edition 1 GB GDDR5
Power Supply: (when a little cheap on this) RAIDMAX Cobra RX-400AF-B
Hard Drive: Western Digital Blue 1TB
Case: Cobra MG100
Ram: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB GDDR3

Solution
fyi, never pick raidmax brand for psu
you can start from here :)
i leave $100 for OS or swap GPU to 270X, or just save the money

Sorry didn't get to mention that he will be playing mostly minecraft but also left for dead, slenderman, assassin's creed, and BF4. He doesn't need to run every game at med/high settings but would like too.

Thanks! Will this PC run BF4 at Med settings?
