My friend recently gave me a music disc and I inserted it into my laptop just like any other cd. Only this time, it didn't show up in my computer and It did not even recognize that a disc was even in the drive. To make matters worse, I cant even eject the disc. I push the Fn+F7 keys (The eject sequence for my laptop) It shows the eject image on screen, but the disc doesn't eject. Please help!

Get a thin paper clip or a pin and insert it into the tiny hole that's somewhere on the face of the drive.

Would it look like a small oval half the size of my pinkie nail? Idk i'm bad at descriptions. It doesn't nessisarily look like a disk eject. It is an internal drive, it doesn't have a tray.

Every CD/DVD drive (internal and external) has a small circular hole that's for quick ejects when other methods don't work.

I am afraid That doesn't help me because there is no pinhole. And i found out that open oval doesn't have a pinhole within it either.

I just looked up a picture of your computer, it's one of THOSE drives.

Only other thing I can think of - Start > computer>you will see the cd drive icon >right click on it and click on eject.
