Would adding a second 7770 improve my graphics on this system?
I5-3570K, (2) 128GB SSHD Raid 0 w/ trim, 8 GB Corsair Vengeance @1866Mhz, Win 8.1, 21" Mon @ 1680x1050, MB - Giga Z77-DS3H Crossfire SATA3

It would improve, but you would be much better off with a single better card such as the 760/770. Cooler, less power, and better performance.

I agree with Gam3r01. CFing such low end cards its just a bad idea instead of selling your current card and upgrading. Also. it would increase the graphic performance.

I feel like every time that someone builds a computer with a mid-range card with the intent of CFX later, everyone always is against it. Personally, I think if you can find a 7770 cheap, CFX would be a great option. I'm going to be looking for a second 6950 soon to CFX with the one I have.

I had an older E8400 with a Nvidia GTS250 in it. Found on TigerDirect the same exact video card for like $40, so I bought it and am running it, I can actually run modern games now.

It would definitely improve your performance. Of course, one card is better, but if you can get two cards might as well.
