Hey guys,

I'm currently using a 1tb HDD and I'm getting a Samsung 840 Evo 250GB SSD. Right now I have 480GB used up on the HDD. When I use the Samsung Data Migration and exclude however much GB I have to so it fits on the SSD, will it delete the excluded files on the HDD? Or will the excluded files be there when I set-up the HDD as a storage device in conjunction with my SSD?

I think the you will still be able to access the files you from your HDD since the migration software will only move the files you selected on to your SSD and will leave the excluded files as is on your HDD.
