Cpu Overclocking Voltage

This may be a stupid question but my bios allows me to up the voltage of my i5-4570 cpu, can i fry my cpu by bumping up the voltage to much????

yes, and unless it is a K you can't OC anyway.

as above and you would only want to do that carefully, if you know what you are doing, if overclocking (ie you have a I5-4570K) ande hav a good aftermarket cooler.

to many volts will kill your CPU even if temperature does not.

You can only overclock that CPU to its turbo frequency, which is 3.6Ghz providing your motherboard will let you adjust the CPU multiplier. You should still invest in an aftermarket cooler though, as the CPU will be running at 3.6Ghz all the time, rather than when it needs to.

You don't need to touch the voltage, leave it on auto.
