Today Google asked me for a captcha before allowing me access to the search results and I looked for possible causes of this and found out someone might be using my computer and true enough I went to my network and there was a " Jean-Pc " beside my own computer.

How do I remove him and prevent any connection sharing from now on?

Is there an easy fix not involving the command prompt ( that can do other damage to my computer) ?

I don't have a router or a modem, my Ethernet cable goes directly in my PC.
All the sharing options are off, it's a home/private network and I don't belong to a homegroup. So by that logic I shouldn't be seeing anyone else's computer on my home/private network.

Would it help if I deleted my connection, uninstalled my networking driver then reinstalled it and made the connection again with a new password ?

I really don't want to have to reinstall windows + all the other programs and start from scratch.

In the cable box of my apartment building. In the past some lunatics actually broke it and cut the wires and the ISP was convinced to come after 3 calls and a lot of error verification.

Right now I don't see the other computer, but in Network and Sharing Center in the link between my computer and the Internet there are multiple networks - my network that has internet access and an unidentified public network with no internet access.

I've tried to get rid of the phantom connection through a fix involving reliable multicast protocol that I found on youtube and worked for some, but it didn't work for me.
I'm still looking for something that will work for me and hope I won't see another computer on my network.
