I'm trying to figure out what RAM from gSkill suits my MB by using their website.

What I can't seem to figure out from Googling around is what RAM chipset I have?

The board is a Gigabyte GA-EP45T-DS3R

You can see from the pull-down menu at: http://www.gskill.com/en/configurator?manu=54&chip=0&model=0 that there are 11x choices for 4x slots of DDR3 RAM. /boggle - ty!

(PS - I know this board is finicky about the voltage of RAM it takes)

Solution

Hello,

Chipset is Intel® P45 Express.

My suggestion: Go with DDR3-1600MHz memory. You can go with either 16GB kit (4 x 4) or two 8GBkit (2 x 4GB).

Good luck!!
