Mincraft Lag on good gpu

You need to tell us more. I would assume with the other specs that you have 8 Gigs or RAM. Are you using a modpack like Feed The Beast? If so, you can allocate more RAM to it, but I feel like that isn't the root of your problem. Do you have any other programs open along with Minecraft? If so, close them. And press Control Alt Delete and go to the task manager then right click on minecraft in the process list, and click on "Find Process" then it will show you "javaw.exe" right click on that, and select Select Priority and then click on "Realtime". This will make your system devote all its resources to Minecraft, and less to that pesky Idle Process.
