I want to know that is a corsair VS650w psu enough for a r9 280x?
At present i own a gtx 660 which runs excellent on my VS650 but now i'm planning to upgrade to 280x so should i buy a new psu. I will not overclock it.
Moreover is there any better card at this price range?
I'm planning to buy Sapphire R9 280x dual x.

My specs:
core i5 3450 @3.1Ghz
Gtx 660 zotac
4 gb ddr3 ram
1 500gb HHD
As Rock H61M-VS motherboard

Thank you everyone in advance.

thanks for the advice i'm spending IRs. 23000 ($370) on it and in pc gaming i think that RAM dosen't make a great difference than graphics card and processor do. But in one site i saw that it needs a min. of 750w psu

r9 280x need a 550w psu to run it. Although it can even run on 500w good quality psu. You psu is more than what your system needs. So sure, vs650 will be enough. You need 750w psu only if you wan't to run 2 r9 280x in one system.

This is the best deal in India for r9 280x, unless you live near Delhi where it would be more cheaper at Nehru Place.

it does say that but it should run fine i would try it and see if it works then buy another they usually set the psu requirements high to compensate for really low quality psu you got a corsair very decent and worth a shot before you spend more money

Also get more 4 gb of ram, so with 8gb ram you can max out any game.
