This asus website describes flashing BIOS: http://event.asus.com/2012/mb/usb_bios_flashback_guide/

its all simple enough but my motherboard Asus Maximus VI Hero ATX LGA1150 is not in their table to find out if I have ROM bios which needs to be converted to CAP, strange thing is my motherboard has that usb drive with the special BIOS update button there too as shown in their images.

Thanks in advance !

PS: Can I put several BIOS update files at once on USB as long as I rename them properly and its FAT 32, will the updates be done one by one or at once?

Solution
There are several ways to update the BIOS on a Maximus VI Hero, putting several BIOS update files at once on USB to be done one by one isn't one of them.

You should determine what your current BIOS version is before flashing a different version. There is a thin white sticker on the motherboard with the motherboard serial number on it. The last four digits on the sticker show the BIOS version that the motherboard ships with. The CPU you are using or going to use also matters.
