Hello there!

I am buying a new build and was wondering what power supply would be sufficient. I thought it would need to be 2000W+?

Here are the components:

Intel Core i7 4960K @ 3.6GHz (Going to OC)
Asus Sabertooth X79 Motherboard
32GB GSkill 2400MHz Kit (4x8GB)
Corsair Obsidian 900D
Corsair H110 Water Cooler
Samsung 840 EVO 256GB SSD x2
WD Green 2TB x2
Gigabyte GTX780Ti in SLI
Windows 8.1 Pro

What PSU would be sufficient for this build?

Thanks!

Might be able to get away with a Corsair 1200AXi, or if you want some safe room EVGA Super Nova 1500W.

2000w will be an overkill even for that beast. 1000w could be more than what that beast needs.

Any good quality 850w psu can still work great on it.

780ti in sli will draw 500w and CPU 105w and other stuff around 100w . so why 1000w or more . . AX860i is fully enough

The corsair AX1200i is always a fun pick, what with the usb power tracking and all. Though if you want the best power for the buck I'd get a Antec HCP-1300 Platinum 1300W (rated 9.9/10 on jonnyguru).

If you want to scrape by, a 850 watt PSU should be able to power that system, in which case, I'd recommend the SeaSonic Platinum SS-860XP2, for it's high efficiency, and semi-silent operation.
