I have finished with my OC, I am happy with my current 4.6ghz on my 8350 (everything looks stable after priming and blending for 12hours)

I dont want my cpu to constantly run at 4.6ghz, what can I do so that it behaves like it used to before changing the bios settings?

So it only ramps up the speed when it needs to i,e when playing a game or somethings because when i leave it on 4.6ghz my cooler is so noisy cant be dealing with that all the times!

More about : dont cpu run overclocked speeds

Do you have Cool'n'Quiet enabled? If you enable it it should solve your problem.

I currently have it disabled, I will enable it and let you know if it worked :)

It also helps to enable "Balanced" setting in Windows Advanced Power Options.
