Hey guys,

Looking to get a new laptop, i've narrowed it down to these 2 options...

http://3xs.scan.co.uk/configurator/custom-gaming-laptop-15in-intel-core-i5-and-nvidia-geforce-gtx-765m

http://www.dinopc.com/shop/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=2026

Any advice/opinion on which to go for ? (i will add a bigger hard drive to the 3XS Scan one)

Never heard of either of these manufacturers/brands. There are some reviews out there of the Scan which look good, nothing on Dino PC though.. are they reliable builds ?

Thanks in advance for any input !

This is the UK, completely different market to the US.
dinopc are probably the best bang for buck when it comes to desktops, and they have really aggressive pricing - as in, you show them a cheaper link and they will give you a voucher off, or change the price for that case.
you can get slightly better however.

Are these your only 2 options?
My friend owned this laptop: http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/ideapad/y-series/y510p/
He strongly recommends it so if it meets your specifications you might want to go take a look.

these notebooks can be configured with the gtx 850M - using the new maxwell architecture and according to notebookcheck and gamedebate, is around 10% better than the gtx 765M
both laptops linked can be configured to an I7 4700MQ, 1920x1080 display, 8GB ram, OS included, 850M, a 120GB SSD, extra thermal paste and an upgrade to the internet module for £798-£805, depending on what module you get.
As far as I know this is the best bang for pound you can get on UK laptops.
any questions?
