don't buy a i7 for gaming. hyper threading is pointless.

maybe you should get 12gb, but if you need more you can always buy it latter. Also I love my deathadder, heard the rocat XTD and some other mouses are good. Having a 4k, or 120Hz monitor is a good idea, I love my 144Hz Asus monitor.

hyperthreading is good for rendering, not gaming so much except crysis or star citizen.

I'd say the FX 8350 is faster with that since it has 8 cores.

+1 for the AMD build.

What are you unsure about? Are you unfamiliar with this Xeon? It is a rebadged i7 4770 with no igpu. The motherboard is solid, but could be changed for just a little more money.

It's a good build, but I doubt you could get that for 900€ since we pay a lot of taxes here in the EU.

For example, I remember checking out prices for this Portuguese user and it turns out the EVGA GTX 760 SC costs around 250€ in Portugal, but only 250$ in the US even though 250€ is a bit less than 350$.

Yep, if you're going intel, get an i5 4670k, and re-invest it into your GPU. Your GPU should always be the most expensive thing in a gaming rig, and always buy the best one you can afford. Hope I helped ;)

The Xeon is better than any FX in every way. It is the same as an i7 4770, but it's much cheaper.

I recommend the Xeon over the i5 because of the video editing you said you would be doing. Even if I did recommend an i5, it wouldn't be the 4670k. Overclocking is a waste of money and the money saved by NOT overclocking would be better re-invested into your gpu. :)

Dont forget about power supplies! :)

Corsair, seasonic, coolermaster and xfx are some good brands. I would get a 650w or 750w.

cosair 300r is a good option, its personal what cases you get. looks like the 300r can hold the 780 because I think it can remove part of its hard drive cage.

The exon processor will not OC, but its a good option.
