I am having some problems with my 1 year old 500GB external hard drive. Some days ago I installed L.A Noir on it. But it crashed on launch then a error message with came up with ''the application was unable to start correctly. Error code.............''. I solved the problem by reinstalling the game about 3 times. OK that's gone. Now I installed Deadpool on that drive too and the same launch crash and error message popped up. I had to reinstall the game to fix this. But after that when playing one of these two games the game automatically minimizes to desktop after 10-15 minutes. Some times I experienced, when I open my drive it says the folder is empty!!!! Nothing there. But when I go to properties it says 112GB free of 500GB but files vanished. I had to unplug and plug the drive to get rid of that problem. And many minor problem is occurring with this drive. I have tried to scan and clean the drive for viruses with avira antivirus. But the problems still occur. These problems are started occurring after the installation of L.A Noir. Is that causing the problem? or anything else? Oh, yes, my main problem is games keep minimizing to desktop. This is very annoying.
