I have Windows 8 32bit installed on my laptop with the following specs

- AMD A4 3305m 2.5 GHz
-3gb RAM (2gb DDR3 + 1gb DDR3)
-AMD Radeon HD 7450m 1gb GPU

Everything runs fine but I want to try out 64 bit OS on it.

My processor is x64 bit based CPU so i was just wondering if I will get any advantage using 64 bit Windows 8 ?
Moreover I am going to exchange my 1gb RAM with 2 GB RAM , with a friend as he only watches movie on his laptop. So I will have 4gb ram pretty soon.

I would change that 1gb of ram to match the other 2gb, it will run in dual channel mode, then install a 64bit os, dual channel will help your graphics card aswell if its using system memory aswell.

Yup it does !! The integrated GPU use system memory .Right now the RAM is not in dual channel coz 1gb +2gb( 1 gb one is of slower mhz).. My friend have the exact same2 gb RAM model as my laptop.. Both HP laptops and 1333mhz. Will be getting the 2gb ram when i get back to college this month. So I should go 64 bit?
