When I booted up this morning I got stuck in a black screen between the Windows logo and where the login screen should be. I still have a mouse pointer I can move around but I can't do a regular shut down from here and have to force power it down. I've looked at other people's similar problems/solutions and have tried reseating the ram and cannot get I'm to mess with graphics drivers. I have also tried booting from my Windows7 CD but I get a similar problem but with the regular login background image.
I'm running Windows 7 64bit
