Hi all , Can any one point me in the right direction as im seeing so many mobo bundles i dont know what i want . I'm a casual gamer , watch tv on my pc and look at and adjust photos. Also do i have to reinstall win 7 or move to win 8.1. AMD X8 Core FX-8320 3.5Ghz & ASUS M5A78L-M USB3

INTEL-Core-i3-4130-3-4Ghz-ASUS-Z87-K-Motherboard-CPU-Bundle

AMD 6 Core FX 6300 4.1Ghz + Gigabyte 78LMT USB 3.0 Motherboard

I have £150.00 . The 6 core probably would do and is in budget but how do the bundles compair. Thanks

The M5A78L-M USB3 is a cost effective board and I have done a few builds including the AMD FX-6300, It is a nice processor for a good price. It will play games such as Skyrim and Borderlands 2 without any hiccups. On the con list, newer games like Assassins creed IV and intense games like Crysis 3 have a more noticable impact on fps. On the other hand the Gigabyte 78LMT is quite small but cheap, and I didnt find any combos with it... though I would definately recommend the 6300 for a casual gamer. To the next question, about operating systems, if you are upgrading your pc and you still have your previous hard drive, you can plug the sata cable into your new motherboard and boot off of it and it shou7ld work.

The AMD FX-8320 + the ASUS M5A78L-M is a great combo.

Yes it is a great combo. I didnt research much into it but now I know what it takes to give better answers. (Also I'm new at this xD)
