So I initially overclocked my vishera 8350 to 4.4 at stock voltage with a hyper 212 and temps started goin over 70c on smallftt prime 95. so i stopped the prime95 and looked at my cpu cooler.. i had 2 issues. it wasnt centered and i didnt apply enough thermal paste.
So i readjusted the heatsink tower and reapplied the thermal paste and temps are great now. running prime 95 smallftt on stock it got around 50c. So i want to test again to see if my temps skyrocket like last time.
My question is.. after i overclock how long do i actually need to run prime95? I have seen so many different answers ranging from 1 hour (as the guy in the youtube video states) to 24 hours. How long do I really need to run it?
