desktop has safe mode style display after hard drive wipe and windows 7 64 bit reinstall?

Hey guys, I wiped my hard drive with DBAN today and reinstalled windows. The problem is that it has a way bigger screen than before. If you guys have ever gone into safe mode, I am referring to this kind of graphics. The bottom bar is giant, the icons are grand and the star menu Is giant. It could be useful to know that I could not get to my msi mobo bios, so I had to unplug the C drive to make it boot from disclosure do I could wipe my drive (which I plugged back in once I could). Anyway, this safe mode style graphic sucks and feels 32 bit, how do I change back? Thanks in advance!

You need to install the proper graphics driver for your motherboard model from MSI (assuming you are using the on-board graphics adapter), then you'll be able to set the correct display resolution:
