I am buying new parts for a computer and need some advice. At the moment I can play games at battlefield 3 at about 30 fps on the lowest settings however I get about the same on medium and high. I have a AMD Radeon HD7770 GPU, an intel core duo @ 2.4ghz and 8gb of ddr2 ram. I am wondering if by buying an amd FX8320 and 8gb of ddr3 ram and an 970a-ds3p motherboard I will be able to play on at least medium settings at a solid 60fps or higher. Thanks

AMD? No, Intel is the way to go (In my opinion). You can run BF4 at 60 fps with the GTX760, 8GB of ram and a decent i5 processor!

I can see where you're coming from but I also want to record and perhaps even live stream my games at a smooth fps rate and I don't have the money to splash out on a 760, what about a Radeon 7770
