I am just about to purchase two Corsair fans (SP120 and AF140) I know that the AF140 fan will reach a 3 pin header on my motherboard however I am mounting the SP120 fan on the front of the case. I am unsure of whether the cable provided from the fan will reach across to the motherboard as the header is quite far away from the fan. I have heard that the cable length is 1 foot which would probably not reach my header therefore I will need to purchase an extension cable. Does anyone have the fan I am thinking about getting and if so, what is the length of the cable?
