Hi, as the title says really.
When playing Battlefield 3, at the edge of the map my FPS drops significantly, but in centre map it is playable. I have made a short video to demonstrate the fluctuation in Battlefield 3:

I would like to know if this is down the CPU, I have ordered a new graphics card but will not arrive for some time. (I play in 16 player servers) Here are my current specs:
AMD ATHLON 64 X2 4200+ OC 2.64 ghz
4GB DDR RAM (3.1gb Use-able)
Nvidia Geforce GT630 PALIT (ORDERED HD 5770 GGDR5)
WINDOWS 8 on 250GB SEAGATE HDD (7200RPM)
Thank you

I would recommend upgrading your GPU and CPU, thats one of the main things in gaming! A GTX 760 or 770 would do it! Consider upgrading your CPU to the AMD FX-8350. If you want to spend more money, upgrade to 8 GB ram, to get less lag spikes.

Glad to help!

It is just DDR, because I have an old motherboard (ASUS A8N-E).

I know, but it will also help improving the graphics though.
