Ok so to start off with I am trying to keep my budget under $1,000. I am going to be using the computer mostly for editing, rendering, photoshopping, blurays and some games.

and a radeon r9 290 gpu

I will be taking these out from my old machine for the new one (everything else in the old one is outdated).

The reason I am going with amazon if possible is because of the free prime shipping also because of the fast shipping times since I need to build this and start editing as soon as possible.

What I am looking for in opinions if this would be a good editing machine or if certain things should or could be switched out for the same or better performance (still need to stick under $1,000 budget)

Also please let me know if there would be any problems with this build that I may have missed (size of things, power, compatibility etc).

Would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks to anyone who helps

:D

Looking forward to it, if possible under the 1k (bonus if it can be at amazon :) )

Opps thanks for pointing that out, the original build had a amd fx 8350 for that motherboard but my friend kept saying that I need to go Intel because it would crush amd (not so much in cost lol) and forgot the change the board, thanks for the heads up :D

Thanks man, just curious what are the major advantages with your build? (other then the motherboard problem like SchizTech said with the original build)

ps. Would you build fit the r9 290?

faster ram, faster SSD, better quality HDD, a bit more spacious case, and a better CPU cooler.

Not to mention its also more cost effective.

You'd have to remove a drive bay and it will fit.

Would that be something hard to do or just like a normal removal? Ive had to take a saw before to cases and dont feel like doing it if I dont have to :p

So this rig would be decent for video editing/rending right?

Thanks again for your time :)

About to buy in the next few ours, just wanted to bump this to see if anyone else had any input, also still curious how mine or RazerZ's rig would stand up in hard editing.
